Shopify store for a health supplements brand

The brand already had strong product photography and a clear niche. The site had to feel trustworthy, load quickly on mobile data, and carry shoppers through variant choices without friction. Work centered on Shopify theme structure, speed habits, and checkout confidence.

The situation

Category pages felt busy; key supplements competed for attention with secondary items. Mobile buyers abandoned carts at a higher rate than desktop. Some third-party scripts were weighing down the storefront in ways the theme alone could not fix.

What we did

I simplified the information hierarchy above the fold, tightened collection templates, and deferred non-critical scripts where possible. Product pages got clearer variant handling and reassurance blocks (shipping, returns) placed where anxious buyers look. Checkout stayed on Shopify’s native flow to avoid surprises.

Outcomes

  • Smoother mobile buying

Layout shifts on product pages were reduced; the path from product to cart reads in fewer confused taps.

  • Leaner front-end weight

Non-essential assets were trimmed or loaded later so first interaction arrives sooner on 4G.

  • Easier merchandising

Collection rules and blocks were documented so the in-house team can rotate campaigns without breaking layout.

Afterthought

On Shopify, the win is rarely a flashy widget—it is usually discipline in the theme, honest copy placement, and respecting Shopify’s checkout instead of fighting it.
